Circle Time: group time for discussion about weather, date, calendar, season, introductions and instruction concerning daily and weekly activities and themes: andf the children participate in songs, fingerplays and stories.
Snack: group snack encourages the art of conversation, manners and time to wind down from group play.
Choosing Time: children make their own choices from a variety of learning/play stations. They may select from the various play areas...blocks, housekeeping/pretend, language arts, pre-math, library, sensory table, special projects, puzzles and more!
Clean-up: children are active participants in cleaning up the room.
Second circle: we meet once again for a shorter circle time with a story or a movement activity.
Outdoor Play & Dismissal: An important part of each day! A supervised, unstructured time for children to run and play with peers. Don't underestimate the importance of this social play time. |
